Leadership Franklin County celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 on May 19th. Congratulations to this outstanding group of graduates for their dedication to becoming active leaders in our community. We applaud each participant for their commitment to personal growth, community involvement, and giving back to Franklin County.

This year’s class earned a Crucial Conversations certificate through a partnership with McClure Professional Services and completed a meaningful service project at Ozark Nursing Home and Rehab and Greenhurst Nursing Home. Class members planted flowers and spent time playing bingo with residents, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved. It was a special day filled with connection, kindness, and lasting memories for both the residents and Leadership Franklin County participants.

The Outstanding Class Member award was presented to Rosemary Hall. Nominated by her classmates, Rosemary was recognized for consistently bringing a positive attitude, strong attendance, and a willingness to help in any way possible. Amanda Jennings was also recognized for her leadership in organizing the class service project and was selected by her classmates to speak during the graduation ceremony.

Nominations and applications are now being accepted for the 2026–2027 Leadership Franklin County class, which will begin in August. Applications will be accepted through July 15th.

LFC visited the state treasury office and got a glimpse of what it’s like to be rich…even if it was only for 15 seconds. 😃
A fun and memorable experience learning more about how our states finances are managed!
