Project Birthday Bag had the honor of speaking to the Ozark Rotary Club today about our organization. They donated some really great gifts for the kids we serve, as well as cash and a gift card. 🌏✨ What a meeting, Ozark Rotary!
This week we were treated to something truly special. Our very own Judge Laura Johnson took us around the world without ever leaving our seats!
Judge Johnson shared a stunning slideshow from her recent travels to China, giving us a front-row seat to the sights, culture, and beauty of a place most of us only dream of visiting. And if the photos weren't enough... she brought desserts. 😍
Safe to say, our taste buds are very grateful.
It's one of the things we love most about Rotary: the incredible people in this room and the stories they bring to the table (literally).
Thank you, Judge Johnson, for sharing your adventure with us and reminding us how big and beautiful this world really is.

Thank you to our Rotarian Gary Wood of Compere Robinette CPAs for talking to us about important tax information and changes we could be seeing soon. Gary is a wealth of knowledge, and we appreciate him keeping us informed!

What a treat it was to hear from five current and former Ozark Schools superintendents as they shared stories and insights from their time leading the district. On the panel were: Lori Wilson, Chris Bauman, Gordan Pace, Kevin Patterson and Johnny Fite. We were also joined by several school board members and district administration staff.

We are grateful they were able to spend time with us, and we appreciate all they are doing for our schools. Thank you!

Mike Kromrey, Executive Director of the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks, visited Ozark Rotary this week to talk about their efforts to sustain and improve our water resources. He is a wealth of knowledge, and we learned a lot! Thank you for taking time to visit us, Mike!

We welcomed Katie Robertson McElvaine last week to our Ozark Rotary Club Meeting. Katie is an optometrist and the owner of Springfield Family Vision. She is also a former Ozark Rotary Club member so it was great to see her and hear about her success in the world of optometry. Thank you, Katie!

Ozark Rotary Club visited the new Children's Smile Center dental clinic to present a check from the proceeds of our BBQ & Bingo fundraiser. The new clinic is beautiful, and we are happy to be a part of their Healthy Smiles Campaign.

Children's Smile Center provides dental care to children covered by Medicaid. Ozark Rotary is proud to support their vision of a healthy smile for every child.
