The Ozark Citizens Fire Academy's 10th graduating class managed to put out all doubts and made it to the finish line on Thursday, July 3rd, with an impressive feat that showcases their passion for making the community a safer place, one fire hydrant at a time. Through a rigorous 10-week course that combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on firefighting skills and CPR certification, these brave individuals have developed a deep understanding of fire science and the essential skills firefighters need to become a firefighter. Their unrelenting commitment to serving the community is genuinely amusing and the Class of 2026 definitely has reason to throw a party, or in firefighter terms, a controlled burn celebration. We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to Lamberts Cafe and the VFW Hall in Ozark for their invaluable support in celebrating these new alumni.
