Wiregrass RC&D is proud to continue our investment in public safety! We recently partnered with the City of Kinsey Police Department to provide a grant for 5 new laptops and 1 desktop computer.
This project was made possible thanks to the continued support and partnership of Senator Billy Beasley and Representative Rick Rehm. We are grateful for their commitment to ensuring our local first responders have the technology they need to serve the Wiregrass efficiently and effectively.

Wiregrass RC&D was proud to help fund essential improvements at Slocomb High School through our Community Development Grant program!

A recent project provided new restroom facilities at the baseball field—something that was greatly needed for both players and fans. This upgrade ensures that players, coaches, and spectators no longer have to leave the complex during games, creating a much better experience for the whole community.

We appreciate the continued support of Donnie Chesteen State Senator and Representative Jeff Sorrells, as well as the leadership of Superintendent Becky Birdsong and Assistant Superintendent Ralph Riley, for helping us make this project a reality in Geneva County.

We're proud to work with Alabama Peanut Producers Association on this initiative! There is so much research behind early introduction. Share this post with all of your friends and family with babies!

Let’s clear things up 👇🥜

There’s a lot of misinformation around peanut allergies, but the truth might surprise you.

✔️ Early introduction may actually help reduce the risk
✔️ Peanut butter can be safe when prepared correctly

The key? Knowing how and when to introduce it safely. Always talk with your pediatrician first! 💛
