Yesterday, at our Annual Cans for Kids Drive, we collect 148 bags of groceries, and we had a record day of giving with the amount of $1745 received today. Grateful for our club members who worked shifts and for the community for being so giving with groceries and cash.

Shoutout to Shane and Brooke, two of our incredible Kiwanis Club members who are the definition of giving hearts! After working all evening at our trivia fundraising event last night, these two showed up AGAIN this morning to make blankets for Child Advocacy Center.

They didn't slow down, they didn't take a break — they just kept on giving. This is what Kiwanis is all about. We are so grateful for members like these who pour themselves into our community time and time again.

Last month, our club welcomed various school districts from Christian County and presented each of them with a check to use towards their students biggest needs. Those schools include Billings, Chadwick, Clever, Nixa, Ozark, Sparta and Spokane.

Ashley Brown Copley, Brooke Gantt and Carrie Gardner Burke represented our club today at Nixa Chamber of Commerce's monthly luncheon. We released our poster today for our March trivia fundraiser. And we still have some sponsorship opportunities available. Message us on here or reach out to one of our Kiwanis member for more information on sponsorship or to reserve a table for this annual, FUN event. Proceeds help local kids.

Our Kiwanis club recently had the privilege of providing a warm meal for local families staying at the Ronald McDonald House here in Springfield. These families are going through challenging times while their children receive medical care, and we were honored to offer them a moment of comfort and community.
Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families during their most difficult moments, and we're proud to support their mission. A heartfelt thank you to all our members who helped prepare, serve, and clean up—your generosity and compassion made a real difference.

We're proud to announce that our Kiwanis Club has donated $1,500 to Nixa Head Start to support classroom supplies and activities for our youngest learners!
This contribution will help provide essential materials and engaging educational experiences that give children a strong foundation for their academic journey. We're grateful for the opportunity to invest in early childhood education and support the incredible work being done at Nixa Head Start.
