April 26th, 2025 will have a clean up day for Gar Creek Cemetery. We will begin at 9 A.M. We have been working the last few years on getting it back in shape again and hope to continue making improvements. Thanks to those who have donated their time and efforts for these clean up days.
We ask that you remove old flowers from your loved ones graves and dispose of them. If you would like to help out with the clean up, we will start around 9 A.M. Decoration Day will be on May11th. It is always observed on Mother's Day each year. Thank you.

Good morning. I want to remind everyone that Gar Creek Cemetery Decoration Day will be Sunday, May 12th at the cemetery. It is a tradition that dates back many generations. It's a time for families and friends to decorate their loved one's graves with flowers to honor them.
.
We ask that you not put glass or any breakables around the headstones. They get blown off and break. The mower's then hit them and scatter it.

We will be accepting donations for the upkeep of the cemetery . We appreciate all donations as it is the only way to keep our cemetery mowed, repaired and cleaned. One of our volunteers will be near the front gate if you wish to donate. Many thanks to all who donate. If you have any questions, please reply to this post.

There will be a cleanup day at Gar Creek Cemetery on Saturday, April 15th at 9 A.M.

Volunteers are needed to pick up brush, trim bushes, remove old flowers to tidy up. The mowing will begin soon so we have to get ready for it. We appreciate any help you can give that day.

Decoration Day at the cemetery is Sunday, May 14th. We will be accepting donations that weekend for mowing, maintence, and general upkeep. Donations are the only way of income to maintain the cemetery.

Just a reminder that this Sunday, May 7th is Decoration Day at Gar Creek Cemetery. It's a good day for remembering our friends and loved one's who are no longer with us. It's a beautiful site to see the cemetery filled with colorful flowers at the grave site's. Donation's will be accepted at the front gate to help keep the cemetery mowed, trimmed, etc. If you cannot visit the cemetery this week and would like to donate, please leave me a message and I will get back to you. Thank you.
