This is my plant of Sinningia ‘Sassy’ which I got from a seller on Etsy. It has a double flower with pink and the center and white towards the edges and it has a lot of little small pinkish red dots. It is a very beautiful plant and I’m enjoying it.

This is my plant of Sinningia Judy Becker, which I got from the Stewart’s in Massachusetts. It is proven to be a reliably frequent flower, and it looks great all the time. This plant was grown inside of a plastic box and it was smashed up against the edge, so all of the leaves were pressed against one another, giving the plant this unusual appearance.

The Long Island Gesneriad Society show concluded yesterday with much acclaim. Best in Show went to Wallace Wells for a large plant of Sinningia ’Romanza’ which scored 99 points. Full coverage and photos will follow.

The show is nearly ready. Lots of Gesneriads for sale. Open tomorrow 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
