Oyster Fest is this weekend!

Join The WaterFront Center on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 for a weekend of waterfront fun!

Enjoy a 45-minute harbor cruise aboard IDA MAY, our replica of the original 1925 Oyster Bay oyster dredge.

IDA MAY Sails — $25 per guest
Departures both days: 12 PM, 1 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM.

There's more to explore at the WFC!

- Get up close with marine life at our giant touch tanks.
- Make your own sea creature button.
- Meet our sailing director and learn about sailing programs for youth and adults.

What a beautiful day on Oyster Bay Harbor!

We loved welcoming everyone aboard the historic IDA MAY today as part of the Town of Oyster Bay's Historical Day in Oyster Bay.

Beautiful weather, wonderful company, and a chance to experience our community's rich maritime heritage made for a memorable afternoon on the water.

Thank you to Supervisor Joseph Saladino, the Oyster Bay Town Board, and everyone who helped make today possible.

And a special thank-you to all our guests for joining us. We hope to welcome you aboard again soon!

The WaterFront Center welcomed M/V COASTAL QUEEN for an overnight stopover at our dock. It was great spending some time with her outstanding crew.

Originally launched in 1928 as a Chesapeake Bay buy boat, she was converted for passenger use in the 1950s and recently underwent a full restoration. The craftsmanship is first class and she is outfitted as an elegant, yet comfortable, cruising yacht.

Safe travels COASTAL QUEEN. We look forward to a future visit to Oyster Bay.

This past Saturday was our Oyster Bay Cup Regatta! With 7 boats and some beautiful windy weather, it was a day of friendly competition and fun. Thank you all who participated and supported our mission, we couldn’t have asked for a better day to sail!

What a wonderful night celebrating The WaterFront Center!

On Thursday, October 1, we gathered at Sea Cliff Yacht Club for our 2026 Annual Benefit. We’re excited to share a few moments from the evening and extend our heartfelt thanks to our Board of Directors, Annual Benefit Committee, sponsors, partners, volunteers, donors, and guests who made the night possible.

At The WaterFront Center, our mission is to connect people to the water through education and recreation. From sailing and marine education to scholarships, community partnerships, and opportunities to experience our harbor, your support helps make this work possible.

While the Benefit has come to a close, our mission continues every day. We rely on the support of our community to keep our programs strong, care for our fleet, expand access, and create opportunities for more people to get on the water.
