A beautiful day on Oyster Bay Harbor with Bayville Elementary!

Students joined us at The WaterFront Center for a hands on day of learning, exploring, and connecting with the bay. From discovering local marine life to spending time by the water, it was a wonderful reminder of how meaningful these first experiences on the harbor can be.

We love welcoming young learners to the waterfront and helping them build curiosity, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

Thank you, Bayville Elementary, for spending the day with us!

The Oyster Bay Cup brings together sailors, businesses, and supporters for spirited racing on Oyster Bay Harbor in support of youth sailing, marine education, and access to the water.

We were so glad to co-host this wonderful evening with Friends of the Bay and to help share the importance of protecting horseshoe crabs here on Oyster Bay Harbor.

A special thank you to Christine Suter, Friends of the Bay’s Executive Director, and our Director of Education, Cameron Jenness, for leading such an engaging presentation, and to everyone who joined us to learn more about these incredible ancient creatures.

We hope the evening inspired even more people to appreciate, protect, and advocate for horseshoe crabs and the health of our local marine environment.
