At Rescue Mission Alliance, these men and women came to us lost—struggling with addiction, homelessness, and trauma. Through our 10-month Life Recovery Program, they found more than shelter. They found healing. ❤️🔥

At Calvary Ventura, we celebrated graduation with powerful worship and testimonies that captured every heart. Michael Darden encouraged graduates to stay connected to their support groups, and Brian Rayburn reminded us that the Mission relies on the partnership of our community.

Ten years sober. 💜 A decade of healing, redemption, and the relentless love of Jesus. 🙌✨ Michelle once lived in chaos — cycling through drugs, homelessness, and verbal abuse. 💔

She came to the Lighthouse for Women and Children hoping to break the cycle… not just for herself, but for her daughter. 👩‍👧 She stayed. She surrendered. She believed God could rebuild what was broken. 🙏 ✝️

Today, she’s not only sober — she’s on staff at the Mission, celebrating 6️⃣+ years of serving women just like her. 💪

Before recovery, Jacob’s addiction to m**h left more than emotional scars—it stole his smile. Just months ago, he was missing some of his front teeth. The mirror reminded him daily of what he’d lost.

But with sobriety came som**hing else: courage. With the help of his case manager Sal, Jacob got dental insurance, scheduled appointments—and walked back into the dentist’s office for the first time in years.

Today, his smile is back. His confidence is restored—and the miracle is this: he finally feels like himself again.

“I can’t leave my cat. She’s all I have.” 🐱 After 15 days on the street, Christin came into the Rescue Mission Alliance cafeteria—hungry, tired, and holding on to the only soul who never left her. 🐾💔

She just got out of jail on a false charge. She’s been scraping by, and trying to survive. But today, she was grateful. 🍽️

Christin needs a miracle. And you can be part of it. 🙌 Thanks to our partnership with Ventura County Animal Services, women in our free Life Recovery Program can keep pets safe while they walk the long road of healing and restoration. ✝️

💔 “A few years ago, I would’ve gone looking for that man… Now, I put it in God’s hands.” His son was nearly paralyzed in a violent attack. The old Abel would’ve sought revenge.

Not long ago, he was drunk, angry, and spiraling—wrecked by addiction, family loss, and rage. He buried his sister. Lost two marriages. He was 61 and on his fifth try at recovery. But this time—he let God lead. ✝️ This is a miracle. ⭐

Now he’s sober,🚶‍♂️walking to work, and saying som**hing he never believed he could: 💬 “Good job, Abel.”

💔 “I couldn’t accept that they were given to someone else.” When Child Protective Services took her kids, Yesenia shattered. M**h addiction, arrests, and brain damage followed — until one desperate prayer for help changed everything. 🙏🧠

Instead of jail, she was sent to Rescue Mission Alliance. Now she’s sober, rebuilding, and healing. And finally reconnecting with her family after seven years. 💚🕊️ “It feels good not to be alone,” she says. “This program gave me hope again.”
