Coalition for Family Harmony It is our mission to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Since 1976, the Coalition has provided victims of family violence with the means to help them escape their life of abuse – and for over 30 years, we have operated a 24-hour bilingual crisis hotline to enable their first step toward a better life. As we assisted more and more victims, we realized that we needed to implement a variety of services – essentially, a continuum of care – to optimize their best chance of a permanent, successful transition to an abuse-free existence. Thus, a primary Coalition focus is not only directly helping the victim but eliminating violence in the home, underscored by our development of a comprehensive range of shelter-based programs for adult victims, parents, and at-risk youth – all of which are available in Spanish and English. The Coalition offers a variety of services to assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse, as well as family and friends of those suffering from abuse.

An Amazing Day at Gateway and Odyssey School!

Our R**e Crisis Center & LGBTQ+ Program Manager, Dr Sandy Gomez was honored to be invited to serve as Principal for the Day alongside Principal Rodriguez! Tell We are in awe of Principal Rodriguez and her dedicated staff for their incredible commitment to supporting, empowering, and uplifting their student communities.

Our R**e Crisis Center and LGBTQ+ Program value the opportunity to collaborate with schools throughout Ventura County to provide education and prevention efforts around sexual violence. Through these partnerships, we work to empower students with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to build healthier relationships, understand consent, and create safer, more inclusive communities.

Thank you to Principal Rodriguez and her team for welcoming us and for the meaningful work you do every day to support your students!

Together, we can continue building safer, healthier, and more supportive school communities.

💜 WE DID IT! THANK YOU! 💜

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, our Serenity Emergency Shelter has a brand-new refrigerator! 🎉

What may seem like a simple household appliance makes a meaningful difference for the individuals and families seeking safety and stability at our shelter. It helps us provide fresh food, nutritious meals, and a more comfortable, welcoming environment during a difficult time.

To everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, or helped spread the word — THANK YOU! Your kindness and generosity turned a need into a reality.

Together, we’re making our community a safer, more compassionate place, one act of kindness at a time. 💜
