⚾💙 Thank You for an Incredible Southern California State Tournament! 💙⚾
As we close the book on the 2026 Southern California 9-11 Year Old State Tournament, California District 32 would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a success.
Over the course of the tournament, we welcomed 10 Section Champions from across Southern California, who competed in 18 outstanding games over 11 days. While the players took center stage, it took an incredible team of volunteers behind the scenes to make every game possible.
Every game required a dedicated score table crew—announcers, official scorekeepers, pitch counters, and other tournament volunteers—along with a four-person umpire crew. In addition, our field crews worked tirelessly before and after every game to prepare the field, ensuring it was in championship condition for every first pitch.
A huge thank you also goes to our amazing snack bar volunteers, who kept the grill hot and the snack bar fully stocked throughout the tournament, providing great food and refreshments for players, families, volunteers, and fans every day.
We would also like to recognize the outstanding umpires who traveled from Districts 28, 31, 32, 41, 42, 68, and 70. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to Little League helped ensure every game was played with integrity, fairness, and sportsmanship.
To the coaches, team parents, and families from all 10 teams—thank you for the countless hours spent traveling, organizing, and supporting your players. Your commitment allowed these young athletes to compete at the highest level and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Finally, to the volunteers from California District 32 and Mira Mesa Little League—thank you. Additionally, a special thank you to District 31's DA, Roberta, for showing up to every game to help us keep the magic going. Whether you worked the score table, prepared the fields, staffed the snack bar, coordinated tournament operations, welcomed teams, or simply stepped in wherever help was needed, your dedication is what made this tournament a first-class event.
Hosting a Southern California State Tournament is truly a team effort, and because of all of you, these young athletes experienced the very best that Little League has to offer.
On behalf of California District 32, thank you for your time, your dedication, and your passion for Little League Baseball. We couldn't have done it without you. 💙⚾
