A Ventura native with deep roots in the local music scene, Guy Martin has spent decades honing his craft into one of Southern California's premier blues guitar talents. While he may spend his days as a general contractor, his true passion has always been music—from recording and producing at a young age to captivating audiences with his signature blues sound.

Over the years, Guy has shared stages and opened for legendary acts including B.B. King, Gregg Allman, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Little Feat, Jeff Healey Band, Junior Brown, Slash, and even Dave Mason.

When he's not performing, Guy is helping other musicians bring their visions to life through BlackCouch Studio, his Ventura-based recording studio that has become a hub for local artists and collaborations.
