For more than 20 years, the Totally Local VC Dinner Series has been getting to the root of great taste.

Our innovative dining experiences pair iconic Ventura County farms, ranches, and locations with some of the region’s top chefs, farmers, purveyors, w**emakers, and brewers. Together, they create unforgettable seasonal menus showcasing ingredients sourced from some of our most celebrated local farms.

Our goal has always been to highlight the bounty from Ventura County — its farms, ranches, chefs, purveyors and iconic places that make this county so unique.

We’re excited to have Chef Tim Kilcoyne heading up a talented team of some of Ventura County’s top chefs, including Chef Adrien Nieto, Head Chef at The Venue At BH. Café Ficelle will also be pulling out all the stops to create a signature dessert for the evening, with additional chefs and culinary surprises still to be announced.

The evening kicks off with passed appetizers and signature cocktails featuring Ranchers Daughter Vodka and Ventura Spirits.
Guests will enjoy beautifully paired w**es from Clos des Amis, along with b**r from Rincon Brewery, as we celebrate the people who make Ventura County’s food and agricultural community so special.

900 reasons to love wildfire prevention!

The Ventura Ave Goat Grazing Project is in full swing, clearing over 300 acres of dry brush along the hillsides to keep our community safe. This incredible effort was made possible through a vital CAL FIRE grant received by the Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council.

We were incredibly honored to be one of the partnering ranches in this important project! The featured herd of 900 goats and sheep spent the last week at the Wicked Wire Ranch—co-owned by Kat Merrick, Executive Director of Totally Local VC, and the proud home of Totally Local VC and The Local Love Project

Partners like Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council and dedicated ranches prove that community-led safety takes a village (and a very hungry herd).

🎃 Meet the Goats at the Fire Safe Trick-or-Treat! 🐐 Looking for a unique, family-friendly way to kick off the spooky season? Come trick-or-treat with the hardest working crew in wildfire prevention—our w**d abatement goats!
The Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council invites you to a special, free community event where kids of all ages can grab some candy, see the grazing project in action, and learn how these hungry helpers protect our neighborhood from wildfires

When: October 7th | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Where: Ventura, CA (Secret outdoor grazing location emailed upon registration!) Cost: Free, but registration is required to secure your spot.
