APPLICATION OPENS MAY 20TH‼️

For more than 13 years, The Rural School Leadership Academy (RSLA) has brought together educators from across the country who are deeply committed to rural communities and ready to grow their leadership, expand their impact, and strengthen the future of rural education.

Through immersive school visits, leadership development, national networking, and cross-state collaboration, RSLA helps educators build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to step into expanded leadership while remaining deeply rooted in the communities they serve.

More than just a fellowship, RSLA is helping build a national network of rural leaders who are reimagining what is possible for rural schools and communities across the country.

With nearly 400 participants to date, we are excited to recruit 70 leaders for the 2026–2027 cohort beginning in September 2026.

We are once again excited to celebrate the success of our First Annual T-Shirt Design Contest. During Teacher Appreciation Week our Corps Members all received a T-Shirt designed by our winning designer, Kingston D., a 7th grade student at Pine Bluff Jr. High!

A time was had this weekend!
What incredible venues, musicians, food, fellowship, and fun at Juke Joint Festival 2026. Teach For America staff had a wonderful time spending the day with corps members, alumni, and our supporters in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Even got a shout-out from the stage and met a parent of a former TFA-taught student 🎤 🔊🙌!

Come find our Juke Joint Table on Saturday, April 11th and be part of the experience. Stop by to learn what the region and national TFA is up to, connect with fellow alumni, add your name to our poster, and support our Alumni-led School Drive.
