A well-deserved congratulations to long-time Oxford Empty Bowls chair Connie Malone, who was recently honored with Miami University's 2026 Distinguished Service Award! This award recognizes faculty or staff who have made a significant impact on the life and mission of Miami University.

Connie's dedication to serving others extends far beyond campus. Read on to learn more about Connie's work for Project Dragonfly in Miami's Biology department, as well as her many contributions across campus and throughout the Oxford community.

We are especially grateful for Connie's 20 years of leadership to Oxford Empty Bowls. Her commitment to this cause has made such a difference for those experiencing food insecurity in the Oxford area.

As we gather and give thanks on this Thanksgiving Day, we are reminded of those around the world facing empty bowls.

We are so grateful to our generous community for supporting the efforts of Oxford Empty Bowls, allowing us in our 23nd year to raise $15,400 to support local organizations fighting food insecurity. We are heartened by each and every one of your contributions to aid the committed work of our beneficiaries as they feed those in need during the holiday season and beyond.

TODAY, NOVEMBER 10... MONDAY MEALS!

This month's free dinner is a warm pasta meal with salad, a roll, fruit and a dessert bar.

Monday Meals at Oxford Seniors (922 Tollgate Dr.) is open to ALL members of the Oxford community! Dine in or drive through anytime 5:30-6:30 PM on the second Monday of the month.

Monday Meals is co-sponsored by Miami University Nutrition students, Oxford Seniors, and faith communities of Oxford.

This community dinner program promotes intergenerational, interfaith congregate meal opportunities. Meals are prepared by Miami University students and various volunteers. Join us!

This year's Oxford Empty Bowls luncheon may be over, but let's continue our community’s spirit of generosity!

The Kiwanis Holiday Food Drive supports local families through TOPSS. This annual effort ensures that every TOPSS household receives a holiday bag with special foods, pantry staples, and a gift card to bring joy and comfort this season.

Last year, Kiwanis raised over $12,500 and collected 1,700lbs of food, helping hundreds of families enjoy a brighter holiday season. But the need continues…

Help TOPSS meet their $13,000 goal for 2025! Donate by November 15th:
