On February 18 2025 Becky Henderson passed into eternity. Her mother, Ms Sherry Henderson had working on getting her headstone and paying her final expenses. Sherry is a disabled veteran & needs our help. But she's running out of time to get the headstone paid for in time for them to get it in time for her birthday June 29. Thank you in advance

Our hearts go out to Everyone in North Mississippi. It is looking like some people will be out of power and water for several weeks. We are actively working on getting supplies to individuals in need, as well as working on recovery efforts for people who are stuck in their houses. We can only do so much, without your help. Happy Friday everybody! With news of rescheduling Cannabis, we've seen a lot of concern, applause, misinformation and more. Unfortunately we've also seen misinformation and flat out lies from elected officials, to include our very own, Senator Cindy Hyde Smith, along with Senator Tom Cotton, Senator Tupperville and other others. I wonder if our senator even spoke to the Medical Cannabis companies and patients that she's supposed to represent, or if she simply went along with the alcohol lobbists and signed without even reading. While we've talked to other organizations, and believe we're all on the same page, this statement is ours and our alone. We hope to see other organizations standing up against misinformation and propaganda. And we hope to one day being in a position where those elected to serve, take the time out to actually do that, instead of whatever this is... we must've demanded more from our elected officials. So excited to see what our friends down at Mississippi Patient Voices are doing with the red dress run! Red dress runs are huge events for cancer survivors & awareness! If you've never been to one, the stories, the sites, the big ole men in dresses for charity... 🤣 it's definitely an awesome site and it's for a phenomenal cause. The entire board and leadership group at The Devack Henderson Foundation stands in solidarity with Mississippi Patient Voices and the Patients of Mississippi! These are the most vulnerable and financially insecure patients of the state, which means some of the most financially insecure patients in the nation. We have to find ways to work through the bureaucracy, to help those most in need.

Practitioners who don’t support $50 doctor visits are still trying to shut down the patient drive campaign. Now they've got a fake PAC, and they’re trying to trick patients into gimmicky memberships, claiming to be compassionate all while insinuating that patients seeking $50 cards are liars who could really afford to spend more on medical services.

Practitioners who’ve never attended our events claim they “look too recreational.” What the hell does that even mean??? Perhaps you’re looking at it through the lens of stigma or perhaps you don’t even believe in the medicine you’re peddling.

Our patients are amputees, going through chemo, having full on panic attacks, paralyzed, blind, in pain, and desperately seeking relief. The elation they have after seeing the practitioner is one of the most satisfying things to witness.

We’ve already had practitioners be intimidated into dropping out of our campaign. We’re going to do our best to continue. Luckily we have time to adapt. I'm deeply disappointed but rest assured that MS Patient Voices isn't intimidated and isn't for sale. We will always advocate for patients ACCESS, EDUCATION, AND EMPOWERMENT.
