Habitat for Humanity advocates that everyone deserves a simple and decent place to live, and the organization works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate affordable housing. Habitat does not "give away" houses, and the recipients of these homes help to build their house, putting in up to 500 volunteer hours. Once the house is completed, the Habitat affiliate sells it to the new

homeowner at no profit and no interest is charged. We're currently working on our 15th house here in the community. If you'd like more info about volunteering, please visit our website.
