Join us for the Mississippi Remembers keynote address by author Ralph Eubanks on Saturday, September 6, at 8:30am.

His scholarship and writing focuses on focuses on Race, Identity, and the Culture and Literature of the American South. He is faculty fellow and writer-in-residence at the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi. His next book, When It’s Darkness on the Delta: How America’s Richest Soil Became Its Poorest Land, which focuses on the Mississippi Delta, will be published January 13, 2026 by Beacon Press.
