Coffee with Seniors!
I was privileged to be invited by Alexa Lindsay, to this Oxford Township Parks and Recreation event.
I was asked to share the story of prominent Oxford resident Dr. Aileen Bettey’s Corbit. (1877-1937) She was a local physician, whose medical practice was located at 111 S. Washington St., which is the current home of Whimsy Art Studio. (1914-1937)
Dr. Corbit is also the founder of Oxford’s John Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, NSDAR.(1918)

Such a fun day sharing her story and meeting new people interested in history!
