CREEDMOOR POLICE DISTRIBUTE SANTA FOR SENIORS’ GIFTS

Today, members of the Creedmoor Police Department distributed the gifts received for our Santa for Seniors Tree to members of our File of Life Program and other seniors across the city.

The File of Life program is designed to potentially make the difference between life and death by providing vital information (medical concerns, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, etc.) to first responders in an emergency. The program reminds our seniors and disabled citizens they are important to us and our commUNITY!

Thank you to those who purchased gifts from our Angel Tree and to several regional Wal-Mart Stores for their grants to make this event successful!

A special thank you to Officer DeSantis and Telecommunicator Sparks for their hard work and for organizing this event.

Merry Christmas from CPD!!!! 🎄

Creedmoor Police Set Record in Shop with a Cop Program

Officers from the Creedmoor Police Department shopped alongside local youth on Saturday, December 14 in their annual Shop with a Cop event.
Shop with a Cop 2024 hosted 25 kids, which breaks last year’s record of 19 participants. The event provides the opportunity for the kids to buy holiday gifts for their loved ones, as well as allowing them to spend the day with law enforcement officers from across Granville County.
After shopping, the officers and children returned to the Creedmoor Community Center where they were treated to a Christmas party complete with a pizza lunch, popcorn, a Holiday movie, and photos with Santa Claus as officers helped the youth wrap their presents.
Creedmoor Police Department launched Shop with a Cop in 2017 which is funded by local donations and entry fees from the Creedmoor Christmas Parade. A special Thank You to Granville County Sheriff’s Office, Stem Police Department, FBC Creedmoor, Bull City Throwback Cruisers, Dickerson’s Service Center, Southern Snow Company, Creedmoor Dominos, Rogers Property Management, Carolina HVAC Services, FBC Academy, City Tavern, Combat Veteran’s Motorcycle Association, Drains Emporium, Kendra Henderson from Bails by Kendra, Oxford Walmart, Pam Krebs, and several other private/anonymous donors.
