enhances the Mounted Police Unit
by implementing donations from the
community. Although the Mounted Patrol is a
budgeted unit within the Oxford Police
Department, there are unexpected
expenses that go beyond norma

l financial
planning. Donations help offset the costs of
unexpected veterinary expenses and
farrier services. They also help the unit
acquire equipment for horses and riders,
saddles, training aids and potentially new
horses!

Not many places better to enjoy the The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss homecoming parade than horseback on the Square! 🐴
