It’s been a crazy year! A busy season, NER family hardships, blizzards, a torn ukelele string right before our first concert; but also, friends, laughter, support, punch, and, of course, glitter ✨ We’re so grateful to have those who have supported our growth throughout the years and are so proud of our group for persevering through it all! Have a great summer, and be sure to check out all the other upcoming handbell concerts in New England. Happy 250th Anniversary, America 🇺🇸

Our Spring Concerts are just around the corner! We kick off at the Boston Handbell Festival on Tuesday the 19th, followed by two performances the weekend of the 30th. We're excited to share our music with you, and look forward to seeing you at one of our concerts! 🤗🔔

We've been busy polishing up our spring rep in anticipation of our concerts at the end of the month. 🤗 A new addition as of last rehearsal: the "sub hat." A way to identify who is filling in for a ringer who is out. Thank you, Todd, for making that happen!

And in proper rehearsal shenanigans, the following was overheard:

"You can't be blamed for any mistakes while wearing this hat... I'll start the bidding at $5." - Andrew

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having Kevin McChesney and Sam Beschta conduct due to an unexpected change in rehearsal circumstances. It was really awesome to change up the rehearsal experience for a day and to see Sam on the other side of the table. Thank you, Kevin and Sam!

We had a busy weekend! Saturday we took apart all of our bells to replace bits and bobs with the help and guidance of Jeannie Cushman! Thank you! 🤗 And we washed and polished our castings... Who doesn't love sparkling bells? 😁

And today we had battery and treble sectionals and we went to town tackling some of our most challenging parts in our spring repitoire. 🔔

We are so excited to share that last weekend, we did a recording session for a Christmas CD at United Methodist Church in Westford, and these are some of our favorite memories! Although these sessions are NOT for the weak, we had the best time with all of our friends throughout the day and even at the afterparty (thanks, Todd 😉). We are so thankful to all of our ringers and to everyone else who was there to help and are so excited to see how it turns out!
