NMRC enjoyed having Brad Crowe’s Communicative Sciences and Disorders class from the University of Mississippi! ❤️💙 Mandi Stutsy-Waldrep and Marilyn Ruscoe shared their knowledge and experience with these future professionals, highlighting the latest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and how it helps individuals with communication needs express themselves, connect with others, and participate more fully in the world around them.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the next generation of professionals and share how AAC makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we serve!

The North Mississippi Regional Center family mourns the loss of Mrs. Anna Lloyd Rotenberry, who served as a Recreation Therapist and Certified Lifeguard for four years (2020-2024).

Anna had a genuine love for the individuals we serve and that love was certainly returned. Our clients especially enjoyed their time in the pool with "their Anna", creating memories that will never be forgotten.

Her kindness, compassion and dedication will be deeply missed. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones and will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully Anna. Your impact will live on in the hearts of those you served.

🍁🎉 Oktoberfest Fun at NMRC! 🎉🍂

What a day filled with fun, laughter, and fellowship! Our clients enjoyed great music from our very own DJ Mont 🎶, delicious food 🌭, face painting 🎨, temporary tattoos, co****le, football toss, basketball 🏀, and fellowship with our local law enforcement officers, fire fighters, and volunteers! 👮‍♂️🚒💙

And let’s talk about that kickball tournament! ⚽😂 The first responders took home the victory with a 7–1 win over NMRC! We may have lost the game and the bragging rights, but we gained something far greater...unity, camaraderie and unforgettable memories! ❤️

💙 Celebrating Medley’s Legacy 💙
What a beautiful evening celebrating a very special young lady and the lasting impact she has had on so many lives. Medley Fest was a wonderful celebration of Medley’s life, her beautiful spirit, and the friendships she shared with the clients and staff of NMRC. It was especially meaningful to see our clients and staff come together to honor their precious friend and to share in an evening filled with laughter, music, memories, and love.

We are incredibly grateful to Medley’s family, especially her mom, Heather, for their extraordinary generosity and for choosing to give back to the people and organization that were so meaningful to Medley. Their support is a reminder of the spirit of friendship and compassion that Medley shared with so many.
