Broadcastify servers should be back to normal operation. I will keep the backup servers up at KN4KNG.com for at least another week, just Incase there’s other issues.

Last night (and early Saturday morning) at 11:30 pm I was updating the server hardware configuration which ended up causing many software issues with the public service feeds for the Granville Co. area.

Software patches were completed this afternoon and the Oxford, Butner, and State Highway Patrol feed listening experience should be back to normal.

I apologize for any inconvenience this May’ve caused.
•••••
I am excited to announce with the new upgrade I am able to save 2/3 of the cost and repurpose the old hardware for new projects.

There has been a few questions asked recently about tactical channels and why they aren't broadcast.

Here is an example of Broadcastify's Terms of Service that every feed provider agrees to adhere to. Although it is not enforced regularly, it's best for the longevity of the streams to follow said TOS. We are hoping to provide a subscription based service (free of charge) for verified Emergency Responders, but that is still a work in progress.

The NC State Highway Patrol - Troop C District 7 Broadcastify feed will be streaming all talkgroups related to Troop C due to low volume. We are investigating if Common talkgroups are indeed tactical, if they are not tactical we will begin to stream them as well. Please see the photo below for the talkgroup ids streamed (highlighted).

Once you create your custom dashboard you can listen to multiple feeds (up to 6 at once)

Pan individual streams L or R

Adjust individual stream volume
