🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL, 42 STRONG! 💛

A new school year means a fresh start, new opportunities, and another chance to make a difference.

The weather didn’t dampen our car wash! 42 Strong and the Oxford Fire Department joined together to put on a car wash to benefit the Free Meals Program based at the Immanuel Church in Oxford.  $1,196 will be donated along with collected non-perishables! Thank you to all of our volunteers and the hardworking Oxford Fire Department for making this possible.

Happy Friday, 42 Strong Family! 💙

As we head into the weekend, let’s remember what it means to live the Tate Traits — choosing kindness, showing courage, lifting others up, being a leader, and making a positive difference wherever we go.

To every student who has been part of 42 Strong this summer: THANK YOU. Your commitment, your vulnerability, your willingness to grow, and the way you show up for one another is what makes this program so special. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. 👏

Our 42 Strong August Large Group Event gave mentors and mentees an opportunity to spend time together before the start of the school year. They created plans for staying connected once school begins and discussed the importance of consistent communication.
There was plenty of fun along the way, with yard games, kickball, volleyball, soccer darts, rock painting, and more! We had to wrap things up a little early as an impending monsoon of rain rolled in.

Teams Sefton and Shafer enjoyed a beach meet up earlier this week. Over 20 mentors and mentees connected over snacks, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and crafts. Not too many pictures…but they did have too much fun! ☀️
