What an incredible afternoon at Comerica Park! ⚾️

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported 42 Strong as the Charity of the Game during the Tigers vs. Yankees game! It was amazing to see so many familiar faces in the crowd, all coming together to support our mission and help us continue carrying on Tate Myre’s legacy through mentorship.

To top it all off, we got to watch the Tigers pull out a win, making an already special day even better!

We are grateful for every person who purchased a ticket, stopped by to say hello, and continues to believe in what we’re building together. Your support allows us to keep making a difference in the lives of young people throughout our community.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, father figures, mentors, and role models who make a difference every day.

Today, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Buck Myre, Tate’s dad, whose strength, leadership, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire everything we do at 42 Strong. Through unimaginable loss, Buck and the entire Myre family have chosen to honor Tate’s legacy by helping young people build meaningful connections, develop confidence, and become leaders in their own communities.

Because of their vision and dedication, thousands of students have experienced the power of mentorship and the impact of living out Tate’s values each day.

Thank you, Buck, for your continued support, your servant leadership, and for trusting us to carry Tate’s legacy forward.

To all the fathers who lead with love, patience, and purpose—we celebrate you today.

Our 42 Strong June Large Group Event looked a little different this year as the impending rain forced us to move from our usual outside venue to back inside the Legacy Center. With just under 200 mentors and mentees in attendance, we connected with games, pizza, and bingo! Looking forward to moving all of our planned June activities to our July event. 😊

⚾ Join us on June 22nd for our Charity of the Game with the Detroit Tigers as they take on the New York Yankees. Come out for a great day at the ballpark while supporting our mission of peer-to-peer mentorship.

🍔 On June 15th, stop by Culver’s in Oxford for our Dine to Donate event. Grab a meal with family and friends and help make a difference in the lives of local students.

⛳ Then mark your calendars for July 18th as we host our 5th Annual 42 Strong Memorial Golf Outing at Boulder Pointe. This special day continues to honor Tate Myre’s legacy while helping us grow and strengthen our mentoring program.
