We're opening Restaurant Workers Relief Center in Oxford, MS and asking for your help!
As a result of having closed hundreds of restaurants in Mississippi for public safety during the coronavirus pandemic, over 120,000 people have lost their jobs. We've decided to take on this initiative and do what we can to support restaurant workers of Oxford, MS that have been laid off due to business closure or a significant drop in revenues.
Oxford is known for its diverse culinary scene that brings customers from all over the country. The economy of our small town depends on restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. Remember last time you had a great meal and a drink on the Square? Remember having a birthday party at Lenora's or Snackbar? Or an after-school ice cream treat for your kid at Yaya's? Restaurant workers don't just prepare your meals - they create your best memories. Now is your time to show your appreciation and support for us during the coronavirus pandemic.
Our goal is to provide hot meals, toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers, personal hygiene items and more to those who needs it the most right now. The Relief Center will be open 4pm-9pm daily and serve laid off workers of all restaurants in Oxford.
You can help by dropping off any of the following items at Dodo Pizza Oxford porch:
