The Oxbow Community Center, Inc., is a nonprofit group charged with preserving the Oxbow East End School while continuing to use the property for community meetings and functions. The canoe float on the aroostook river is this Saturday June 6. All are welcome to join us. We meet at the oxbow community center at 9 am. We will put in at lapumkeg so we will go through the gate. That cost is $13 per person. Bring your canoe or kayak your lunch and drinks. Will be on the water for about 5 hours. Will take out at the Oxbow flat. Fishing is by artificial lure only should be back at oxbow community center around 4 pm. Would be good to post if you plan to join us as we figure out transport of watercraft and vehicle shuttle. It is a great trip

Our one-day sale was a huge success! A huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your support. To those that donated, those that helped set up, those that worked the day of the sale, those that purchased items, those that helped tear down and box the remains up, THANK YOU!!! We couldn't have done it without your support. All proceeds from the sale are to go to maintaining the Oxbow Community Center.
