This week our staff attended the Council of Michigan Foundations 54th Annual Conference! 💙 This provided the opportunity for learning, sharing, and growing with our peers in Philanthropy. And as outgoing CEO of the Council of Michigan Foundations Kyle Caldwell said, "How fortunate are we to get to do this good work for our community?" We all are feeling inspired and hopeful for the future of Michigan, and Shiawassee County. We look forward to continue to be "United for Good" in Shiawassee and to continue to bring folks together for our important needs in our community!

We know the transition to the University of Michigan can be challenging for some of our students from Shiawassee County, but we are proud of the resources in place at the University for our students. Not only is there the Cook Scholars program specific to Shiawassee Students, but there are additional initiatives meant to support the transition to college.
