The Owosso Sports Booster Club's mission is to foster an environment that inspires student athletes, coaches, parents and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere for all Owosso athletic programs. We support through fundraising, stand behind strong moral character and good sportsmanship, promote a winning school spirit throu

gh athletics and encourage attendance. The Owosso Sports Booster Club is a group of parents (current and former), with the help of school administrators, whose mission is to enrich the Owosso high School athletic community by providing financial support for Owosso high school Athletic programs, this is done by funding areas of need that are not fully covered by the school. We are dedicated to the continued support of our student athletes and coaching staff. In addition to financial support, our Athletic Booster Club recognizes that participation in high school athletics benefits everyone and promotes opportunities to build and strengthen relationships among all involved: the student body, coaches, teaching staff, parents and the community. We strive to support athletic and academic excellence, create a winning school spirit, promote team unity, and maintain the history and tradition of excellence for all student athletes at Owosso High School. The Owosso Athletic Department is seeking a passionate and dedicated leader to serve as our Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court, building strong relationships, and continuing to grow our girls basketball program.

✅ Knowledge of the sport
✅ Ability to develop athletes and build a comprehensive program
✅ Strong leadership and communication skills
✅ CPR/AED Certification Required
✅ MHSAA CAP 1 or CAP 2 Certification Required for Head Coaches

📅 Position Open Until Filled

What a fantastic day for some basketball. Thanks to Summer Night Hoops, the Curwood 3-on-3 tournament was back in action. Children and adults alike competed against each other with intensity and respect, the way the game is meant to be played. It's going to be very exciting to watch this event grow and evolve in the years to come.

Come watch your Owosso Trojans Softball Team take on Frankenmuth in the Regional Semi Finals tomorrow at Garber High School at 12pm! If they win, they will play the winner of Lake Fenton vs. Saginaw Swan Valley at 2:00pm for the Regional Championship!
