Today Easton community co-op may have been missing several families due to illness, but we were still full of learning and fun! The kids began the day singing songs, listening to each other’s prayer requests and listening to a small scripture to start our day. Today the kids did an AMAZING job making homemade egg noodles! We had a farm chicken, farm eggs and made homemade chicken noodle soup from scratch that we all enjoyed for lunch! The kids had such a fun time! The kids also were able to participate in various fun group activity stations. After lunch the kids did show and tell and each week we see the kids are building up their confidence as they walk up to speak in front of their peers. The kids are bringing in items that show hobbies, interests and skills.

Today marked the start of the third year of Easton Community Co-op! Today we were missing a handful of families, but still had a great turn out. We learned about composting and rock painted using what they could find as a paint brush! It was a great day for everyone to get to know each other and to make friends. We will be meeting again NEXT Wednesday, same place at 10:00 am. Then starting September 17th we will be back to meeting at Easton Church of Christ starting at 9:30 am. Are you ready to register? Tomorrow we start Easton Community Co-Op back up for the 2025/2026 school year. We will hold the first two meets outside of the church, please message us for the address if you’d like to come check us out. Registration is open! We have many new families signed up, so it’s the perfect time to join!

Summer may be in full swing, but now is the time to register for Easton Community Co-Op 2025-2026 school year.

Today was a beautiful day to gather for a field trip to a local one room school house. ☀️
After finishing up learning about living in the 1800’s, the kids were able to visit a one room school house for a school lesson, then we had recess with toys children would have used during that era.

We would like to thank Taphouse Meat Market for accommodating our group today and offering the children an engaging educational experience. They had a fantastic time learning about your business and its inner workings. Today's classes, despite being organized at the last minute, were remarkably successful. The children participated in a hands-on lesson about chickens and had the opportunity to handle baby chicks. Elijah, 10 years old, played a key role in teaching the 1800 Living class, providing valuable insights into the lives of U.S. Presidents. His hard work and willingness to share his knowledge are greatly appreciated. We missed a few families but welcomed new ones to our co-op. Are you seeking a homeschool co-op community? Due to illness, co op is being cancelled this Wednesday. See you in a couple weeks!

There will be no classes this Wednesday due to multiple families in the co op who are currently sick. We will resume classes on March 5th!
