There is truly nothing like a summer at camp, and we are so excited to welcome both new and returning campers for what is shaping up to be our best summer yet!

🎉 There’s still time to join the fun! Spots are still available, and we would love to have you be part of it.

Come see what camp is all about at our Open House on June 20th from 12pm–4pm! Enjoy camp-friendly snacks, delicious ice cream from Bokie’s 🍦, and meet some special animal friends who will be joining the festivities.

This position will serve as the 4-H Camp Overlook Program Director for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Franklin County and will lead the development and implementation of educational programing at 4-H Camp Overlook, which is owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Franklin County and Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County. This position will be instrumental in the transition of this well-established seasonal camp facility into a year-round educational center with an emphasis on environmental science, adventure education and experiential learning. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: leading the development, coordination and implementation of all educational programs; management of administrative functions; recruitment of schools, visiting groups, and campers; and supervision of seasonal instructors and designated summer camp staff. This position will be responsible for the overall management of 4-H Camp Overlook to include financial management and facilities operations as well as ensuring that 4-H Camp Overlook is in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations and is specifically responsible for personnel management, program development and health and safety management. This position will also coordinate all administrative aspects with marketing and fundraising efforts for 4-H Camp Overlook programming.

This position is a full-time exempt position - 100% FTE. The annual salary for this position is $62,353.20. This position, based on eligibility, offers a comprehensive benefit package, to include: health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation, sick and personal leave.
