Beginning Wednesday evening, the Auxiliary will once again be selling Gold Stars to decorate our windows in honor of Gold Star Mothers and Families Day on September 27. Stars are $2 each, available at the bar, and you are invited to write the name of a veteran you wish to honor on the star to be remembered. Funds received are used for our Gold Star service and to keep the Gold Star dedicated area out front updated. Thank you!

An amazing and uterrly successful Auxiliary crab feast today. Many thanks to all who worked to make it happen as well as those who attended as our guests, with a particular shout out to the MCROTC from Franklin High who worked their butts off to keep people fed and stayed to help clean up. Cou;ldn't do this without our Auxiiary brothers and sisters but I hesitate to mention names for fear of missing someone. Just please know that your are truly appreciated!

Thanks so much to all the Auxiliary members who turned out tonight to help prep the hall for tomorrow's crab feast. Many hands makes light work! This old gal really appreciates the assistance!

Just a reminder that if you intend to join us for the dinner in honor of our National President Donna Mills' visit to Maryland at VFW 521 on September 19 at 5pm, your payment of $15 needs to be sent to Pat McConville no later than August 31. Dinner menu is h'ors d'ouerves of fruit, cheese & veggies, and entree of ham, fried chicken, mac/cheese, green beans, dinner roll, and cake with sodas, water & tea. Let's get a large attendance to show our support of our National President!

We have been closed a few days this week for vacations but we will be open Friday ( Friday Night Bingo) Saturday at 7 is the first Ravens preseason game. There will be cheese and crackers , pretzels at the bar . bring a snack to share if you wish.. Queen of Hearts drawing at 8. Come support Charlotte in the last weekend of her poor school teacher summer!Hope to see some of you there!🍺🍻🥃🍸🍹🧋
