✨ Three Years of Serving, Loving, and Showing Up ✨

For the past THREE years, Sharing H.O.P.E. has had the honor of serving the incredible residents of Wyman— a 175-unit apartment community right in the heart of Baltimore City ❤️🏙️

Each month, we show up with full hearts… whether it’s a hot, nourishing meal 🍲 or groceries 🥦🍞 filled with love and care. And every single time, we are reminded that this is so much more than food… it’s connection and community.

Month after month, we have been blessed to serve well over 100 residents—sharing smiles, conversations, and hope 💛

The Wyman isn’t just a place we serve… it’s FAMILY!🩷

We are so grateful for every volunteer, every donor, and every partner who makes this possible. This is what it looks like when a community comes together to love well and serve faithfully.

Today we are celebrating Kyra Williams, one of our wonderful volunteers at Sharing Hope!

Kyra always shows up with a bright smile and a warm heart. She has a special way of making every guest feel welcomed, seen, and valued the moment they walk through the door. Kyra also brings a fun presence that lifts the atmosphere and makes serving together even more enjoyable.

Whether she is helping with the grocery giveaway or simply offering an encouraging word, Kyra reflects the heart of what Sharing Hope is all about.

💚 Volunteer Spotlight: Sarah Davenport 💚

Some volunteers simply serve. Sarah serves with intention.

Sarah Davenport is always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed. She brings such a steady, organized presence to Sharing Hope. When things get busy, Sarah helps create order. She gets everyone in gear, keeps the flow moving, and makes sure every detail is handled with care.

One thing we especially appreciate about Sarah is her heart for stewardship. She makes sure no food is wasted, thoughtfully redirecting anything we can’t use to feed animals. That mindset reflects such respect for every donation and every blessing entrusted to us.

Sarah, thank you for showing up faithfully, leading with kindness, and serving with excellence. You make a difference every single time you walk through our doors. 💚

Volunteer Spotlight: Billy von Riegen

Some of the most important work at Sharing Hope happens quietly—and Billy von Riegen embodies that spirit.

From the very beginning, Billy has been part of the foundation of Sharing Hope alongside Teresa. He’s the one behind the scenes picking up food, hauling thrift store donations, cooking meals, fixing what’s broken, and stepping in wherever help is needed—often without being asked and rarely seeking recognition.

Billy does the kind of work that keeps everything moving but doesn’t always get seen. Early mornings, late nights, heavy lifting, last-minute runs—he’s there. His steady presence, willingness to serve, and heart for others are woven into the day-to-day life of Sharing Hope.

What makes Billy special isn’t just what he does, but how he does it—with humility, faith, and a genuine desire to help others thrive. Sharing Hope wouldn’t be what it is today without the countless unseen moments of service he’s given over the years.

We are deeply grateful for Billy, for his faithfulness from the beginning, and for the way he continues to serve our community with quiet strength and love.
