This exciting initiative will connect select Central Scholarship alumni with past and current Emerging Leaders for mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities — helping the next generation of leaders grow, connect, and thrive.

With support from Central Scholarship, Yahellah Best is advancing her path in clinical counseling by sitting for key certification exams and participating in an Afro Indigenous movement and healing retreat in Brazil

The retreat offers immersive learning in indigenous cultural practices, including ceremonial dances and movement. She hopes to integrate these approaches into her work with marginalized communities. It also supports her continued academic journey as she prepares for doctoral candidacy. 🎓
