🎉 What an unforgettable celebration of opportunity, achievement, and possibility!

Last Tuesday, Central Scholarship proudly celebrated more than 200 scholarship recipients at our 2026–2027 Student Awards Ceremony at the Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre.

The afternoon was filled with inspiration from welcoming remarks by our President, Tierra A. Dorsey, to an engaging panel discussion featuring Central Scholarship scholars who shared their educational journeys, challenges, and advice for the next generation. Students also enjoyed lunch, connected with fellow scholars, and explored our interactive Student Store, where each recipient selected items to help them prepare for the academic year ahead.

To our scholars: Congratulations! Your hard work, resilience, and determination have brought you to this moment, and we are honored to be part of your journey.

On July 14, Central Scholarship will celebrate an incredible milestone! Awarding scholarships to 200 outstanding Maryland students!

Each of these students has demonstrated remarkable determination, resilience, and academic promise. With the support of generous donors, they are one step closer to achieving their dreams through college, graduate school, or career training.
