Hamer Masonic Lodge #228

Hamer Masonic Lodge #228 We are a group of men whom are brought together by one common goal. To take a man, and make him a better man. We also help, and support our community.

We meet on the Second Tuesday of the month at 7pm, all Mason’s are welcome. This is a place for the Blue Lodge to share our events, pictures, questions, and comments with those inside the Lodge, and the community.

I am pleased to inform you that at our meeting yesterday evening the lodge announced its invitation to join this Friday for a night of Fellowship and Revelry at RJ Cinemas in Eastgate. This will be a fun, casual outing and all are welcome and encourage to attend!

There is no formal time set for arrival, though I personally intend to be there near the 6pm hour. This is an excellent opportunity to bring spouses, friends, family, or even just yourself to meet and enjoy the company of one another in a setting outside the Lodge Room!

I look forward to being able to see you and your guests for this outing!

🕯️ Saint John’s Day – December 🕯️

As the year reaches its darkest hour, we are reminded that Light is never absent — it is only waiting to be revealed.

Today we honor Saint John the Evangelist, a keeper of wisdom, truth, and divine light. In the stillness of winter, we reflect on the sacred balance between the Sun and the Moon, the seen and unseen, the temporal and the eternal.

Between the two burning tapers, we are reminded that knowledge must be guided by virtue, and that the Light we carry is not meant to be hidden — but shared.

This is a season of reflection, renewal, and brotherhood.
A time to remember who we are, where we’ve come from, and the Light we are called to carry forward.

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
— John 1:5

May your path be steady, your heart be humble, and your light burn bright — even in the longest night.
