Overnight Summer Camp has officially begun!
We are excited to have 16 Gasconade County 4-H members attending camp this year! They are headed into a week filled with new adventures, outdoor activities, learning experiences, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
We know this week will be full of fun, growth, and plenty of laughter. Please join us in wishing our campers and leaders a fantastic week at camp. We can't wait to hear all about their adventures when they return home!

We’ve made a change to better showcase our talented exhibitors — the Rabbit & Poultry Shows will now be held on Wednesday! 🐰🐔
This gives families, friends, and fairgoers a great opportunity to start the week by cheering on our local youth.

Gasconade County Sheep & Goat Meeting Reminder!

Youth exhibitors, families, and leaders—don’t miss this important meeting as we prepare for the 2026 Gasconade County Fair!

Buyer’s Luncheon
NEW location: Youth & Ag Building at the Fairgrounds
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Youth Auction – NOW STARTING EARLIER!
Award Presentation: 1:30 PM
Auction Begins: 2:00 PM
The auction will start ONE HOUR EARLIER than in previous years — please plan ahead so you don’t miss it!
We’re excited about these updates and look forward to a great event supporting our local youth!

Archery Project members, don't forget to register for the Meramec Community Fair shoot if you plan on competing!

The deadline to register for the Meramec Community Fair Archery Tournament is fast approaching! Sign up in FairEntry by Friday, May 22nd. The tournament will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at the Meramec Community Fairgrounds behind the swine barns and city equipment sheds. Cost is $5 to participate which should be paid at the archery shoot during check in. The tournament begins at 6:30 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Youth must be enrolled 4-H members who have been participating with a certified leader. Archery leaders will sign off on members who are eligible to participate. Please reach out to the Franklin County MU Extension with questions or for more information!

4‑H Members — It’s Project Time!
The Gasconade County Fair will be here before we know it, and now is the perfect time to start (or keep!) working on your 4‑H projects for the exhibit hall. Whether your project is sewing, woodworking, foods, photography, science, crafts, or anything in between — your hard work deserves to be shown off!
Exhibiting a project is a fun way to set goals, learn new skills, and celebrate what you’ve accomplished this year. Remember, projects don’t have to be perfect — they just need to show your effort and learning.
Parents and leaders, thank you for helping encourage youth to set aside time to work on their projects. Let’s fill the exhibit hall with amazing examples of what Gasconade County 4‑H has been up to!
If you have questions about project requirements, now’s a great time to ask. We can’t wait to see what you create!
