Owensville Chapter held installation of officers last night. Barb Zastrow and Larry Ellis will be Worthy Matron and Patron for the ensuing year.

There will be no meeting this Thursday due to illness and Owensville 414 will be going dark for July and August.

We want to congratulate Marilyn Willeford again on receiving her 50 year pin last night at our meeting. Marilyn has been a pillar of our chapter teaching many of us our proficiency as well as serving as Worthy Matron and many other offices. Thank you Marilyn for all you do for us!

This Thursday night we will be having Friendship night and honoring Marilyn Willeford for her 50th Year by presenting her pin. If anyone wants to bring food, we have chicken, potatoes, green beans and desserts covered, but additional side dishes are welcome. Dinner at six. Please come and join us in celebration! From our Worthy Matron:

Welcome to February, the year is on the move. I hope everyone is well and staying safe during this cold weather.

Our meeting will be on Feb. 2 hope everyone will be able to make our meeting. I was just told by our District Deputy that our official visit will be on March 2. Instead of having dinner at our February meeting, we will have our dinner on March 2nd. I will bring cookies for a snack after our meeting. Look forward to seeing everyone on Feb. 2.

Please keep our Worthy Matron Barb Zastrow in your thoughts and prayers. She currently has COVID. Because of this, she won’t be at Thursday's meeting, so we are trying to get a feel for those planning to come. If you can be there, please let us know so we can ensure we have a quorum.

It is with a sad heart, We must announce Brother Roger Grob has passed away. His masonic services will be on Friday May 20th at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville at 7pm, followed by OES services. Please keep Sister Gloria in your hearts and prayers.
