Announcing: Relay for Life will end at 2:00 am this year!
This is a great year to join our Relay in support of the American Cancer Society. The Owensville Relay for Life will be held on June 28-29, 2013. This year's relay will still have many of our traditional events, including the Survivor Dinner, Luminaria Ceremony, and lots of fun activities for teams and community members, but we will be ending at 2:00 am. The Relay for Life organizing committee is making this change to help more teams and community members participate. We are excited to see our many teams continue, and hope to bring new teams to our event.

A kick off meeting for this year's Relay for Life will be held at the First State Community Bank meeting room on February 28th, at 6:30. If you are interested in forming a team, or supporting the event in another way, we hope you will join us.

Mardi Gras Party!!! Join the Mid-Mo Krewe Team on Saturday, February 2nd, 7-11pm at the Owensville VFW Hall. Snacks and sodas provided, coolers welcome, EMS Sounds is the DJ. Tickets are $10. There will be a competition for the best table decorations and best Mardi Gras mask.

Hey everyone, I looked at my post card again, it only says committee members on it, captains may not need to be there. I think we are planning tonight for the kick off meeting in February. If I have confused anything, I apologize. -Michelle
