So thankful for “those” parents and family members!!

Hey sports parents: Be one of those.

Be one of those parents who celebrates another kid's success even if your own kid didn't play their best.

Be one of those parents who checks in on the parent of the teammate who is struggling instead of making assumptions about what they're going through.

Be one of those parents who goes out of their way to welcome the new family on the sideline instead of assuming someone else will.

Be one of those parents who raises their hand when there aren't enough volunteers instead of complaining that things don't seem to be run well.

Be one of those parents who respectfully reaches out to coaches and organization leaders with concerns instead of adding to the sideline chatter.

Be one of those parents who remembers that the way you show up in youth sports... plays a big role in creating the environment that all of our athletes get to play in.

Be one of those.

We NEED more of those.

And our kids?

They deserve more of those, too.

Unfortunately, ODC jamboree will be canceled for this weekend. These decisions are never easy to make, but we feel this is the best decision to ensure player, cheerleader, and spectator safety. We are extremely disappointed, but will be excited to be back on the fields for week one starting August 22!
