Senate Bill 133 will increase audit thresholds for local entities, reducing the frequency of mandatory, full audits for smaller organizations. It also allows certain one-time and capital grant funds (including airport infrastructure funding) to be excluded from audit thresholds calculations, providing additional flexibility in how financial reporting will be structured moving forward.
