February was amazing for Christmas Wish. Great deals, and major support from our area 5 Below stores and Kids 4 Good - Owensboro. Stretching those donations to help the most kids ever this season! Today, IGA on 25th had huge markdowns on winter apparel, so we took advantage! March is off to a great start, too. Community support is everything as we head into our monumental 50th season ❤️

NOW.....Officially, we're closed for the season! Thank you to the amazing humans at Lighthouse Recovery Services Inc for bringing manpower to finish the move. What an amazing day! ❤️ We didn’t quite finish, but we’re so close. Thanks to Donatos Pizza in Owensboro who fed the crew delicious 🍕 Thank you for the donation! UHaul on Parrish is the 💣 The amazing guys from the Father’s House, Boulware Misson, and Lighthouse Recovery for the manpower! And, a special thanks to Adam, Rick, Scott, and Ginger at Owensboro RV. AND, the full time volunteers who never quit. You know who you are 😉

Christmas Wish is one of our favorite ministries, and we’re so thankful for the incredible work they do to touch the lives of so many children. The heart, dedication, and effort behind this well-run charity truly make a difference. 🤍

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and we’re reminded that it’s never too late to give back to our community, even after the holidays have passed.

Huge shoutout to Owensboro Times for always showing the Christmas Wish program so much love! 🎅

WBKR’s Christmas Wish closed out its 49th season by serving 1,912 local families, helping nearly 8,000 children and distributing more than 50,000 gifts — a reminder of both the need across Daviess County and the community support that continues to sustain the program.
