Running for Joy Kaitlyn runs to raise money to help cure bad days for courageous kids fighting cancer! Help her reach her goal at https://www.teamnegu.org/runningforjoy

14 yr old Kaitlyn LOVES to run. She started running at the age of four. She runs everthing from 5K's to Half Marathons! Kaitlyn has a huge heart for helping others. She started her "Running for Joy" fundraiser in July of 2015 and by the end of 2015 was able to raise $1,500, by the end of 2016 $7,000, by the end of 2017 $27,000, by the end of 2018 raised $50,000 and by the end of 2019 raised $70,000! When Kaitlyn met her $50,000 goal she shaved her head to support all courageous kids fighting cancer. Kaitlyn has decided to “Go BIG for the Kids” and raise her goal to $100,000! Kaitlyn runs every mile to help cure bad days and bring JOY to courageous kids fighting cancer. Kaitlyn is THRILLED to have the opportunity to continue to help the NEGU Team in reaching their goal of getting Joy Jars to every child with Cancer. Thank you for visiting Kaitlyn's fundraiser page! It’s a great day to be a Panther! JV girls finished 1st as a team with 9 girls in the top 15 👏🏻 Kaitlyn placed 9th out of 67 girls and improved her tUME from the last time on this course. Baby steps to getting back to where she was and having a blast doing it. She has gained so many great friendships this season♥️💙🤍

Huntsville showed up and showed out this afternoon at the The Southern Showcase XC meet! Both the girls and boys placed 1st as a team out of 11 teams for the girls and 13 teams for the boys! Kaitlyn placed 11th out of 109 girls! Very proud of her and all of the HHS runners! GBR!

Kaitlyn has decided to take a break from running competitively for her school! She asked to go back to just running for fun. She ran Varsity XC for our local high school in 7th and 8th grade.

Today we ran the Berry 10k for fun and had a blast! She placed 1st in her age group!
