for children with untreated oral disease is persistent pain, inability to eat comfortably or chew well, embarrassment of discolored or damaged teeth and distraction from play and learning. Let’s Smile, Inc.’s purpose is to change lives by improving access to clinical preventive oral health care, increase oral health literacy, and raise awareness about the importance of oral health’s impact on overall health, especially to those most vulnerable. Let's Smile, Inc.'s preventive clinical dental services provide children up to the age of 19 years old that do not have private dental insurance access to care by outreaching to schools, preschools, daycares, and Head Start programs. prevents oral diseases with hands-on oral hygiene instructions by plaque removal with disclosing solution, a toothbrush, and floss that the children can then take home. Fluoride treatments are also applied to strengthen the enamel of the teeth. Let's Smile identifies risk factors through a basic screening that checks for untreated decay, need for sealants, and oral cancer screenings. We also work as a liaison for referrals to general dentists or specialists. Your tax deductible donation helps spread smiles in our community. Because of your contribution to Let’s Smile, Inc., the delivery of oral health education and preventive dental services is able to impact many vulnerable children and teens in our community.

Why is she back to the hygiene profession? Because she believes in our mission of improving oral health and well-being for children & teens and that makes our hearts so happy! 💕

Let’s Smile, Inc.’s purpose is to change lives by improving access to clinical preventive oral health care, increase oral health literacy, and raise awareness about the importance of oral health’s impact on overall health, especially to those most vulnerable.
Clinical preventive dental services provided are for children and adolescents up to the age of 19, who are covered by Minnesota Health Care Plans (MHCP) or uninsured. Children participating in our program who are enrolled in a state assistance program will have their services billed to insurance. If a child is uninsured, Let’s Smile, Inc. utilizes grant/donation funding to cover the cost of their services. Let’s Smile, Inc. does not bill families for preventative services.
Let’s Smile, Inc. outreaches to schools, preschools, day cares, and Head Start programs with our mobile dental services.
We provide a Basic Screening Survey that includes an oral cancer screening, assessment for untreated decay, evaluates the development of teeth, and overall oral health.
A professional dental cleaning by a Collaborative Registered Dental Hygienist removes the calculus, plaque, bacteria,and stains off the teeth that may cause tooth decay and oral infections. Fluoride treatments are also applied to strengthen the enamel of the teeth.
We work as a liaison for referrals to general dentists or specialists.
Let’s Smile, Inc. enjoys promoting the importance of good oral health habits to maintain a healthy mouth through classroom presentations and health fairs.
Your tax deductible donation helps spread smiles in our community. Because of your contribution to Let’s Smile, Inc., the delivery of oral health education and preventive dental services is able to impact many vulnerable children and teens in our community.
