Miss Daisy is still searching for her perfect home.

She’s a sweetheart. A quiet shadow who simply wants to be near her people, soaking up love and companionship. She would thrive in a calm, lower-activity home with a single person or couple willing to continue giving her the understanding and stability she has worked so hard to trust. Daisy will need ongoing pain management, but in return she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship, and a whole lot of love.
She may not have always had the chance to be this dog — but now she does. Could you be the one to give Daisy the peaceful forever home she deserves?
Daisy is spayed and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Because of Daisy's level of daily pain, she takes gabapentin three times daily (around $35/month) and previcox once daily (around $75/month). This medication treatment should continue after she is adopted and will be the adopter's financial responsibility. Please don't let this deter you from providing Daisy her final fur-ever home!

A heartfelt thank you to Ducks and Hogs for Dogs for hosting the motorcycle ride and silent auction to benefit the Steele County Humane Society! 🏍️ Your generosity, hard work, and support mean so much to us and the animals in our care.

Meet Kitty — a sweet, gentle cat who loves getting pets and curling up in your lap.

Kitty is a lovable feline with a heart full of warmth and a personality that grows on you. At first, she may seem shy, especially when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she opens up into a loving, affectionate companion. She’s happiest when she’s in your lap, snuggling close and purring contentedly, or when she’s curled up in a cozy spot to recharge.
While she enjoys the companionship of humans and will follow them from room to room, Kitty is also a cat who values her independence. She’s happy to entertain herself with toys when the mood strikes, but she’s equally at home resting quietly in a sunny window or napping in a soft blanket. This balance of affection and self-reliance makes her a great fit for a calm, patient home.
Kitty’s ideal environment is one where she can be both a lap cat and a free-spirited explorer. She would thrive in a home with a gentle, understanding person who can give her space when she needs it, and who is ready to share in her moments of play and cuddles. She’s adaptable, friendly, and ready to form a special bond with her new family. We do think she would do best in a home as an only pet and with no young children - she's not comfortable with other pets in her space.
If you’re looking for a cat who will bring comfort, companionship, and a little extra purr-fect charm into your life, Kitty is the one for you.
She is also a good traveler!
