I am appalled lately at the growing violence from police officers. Now i realize the dangers of their job and I get it (before you give me the lecture). However there seems to be a lack of accountability. In a general conversation about wanting to be off the grid as much as possible it was stated from a police officer that the reason the big city police are acting in the manner that they do is because they are trained to. He said that they are trained that anyone including religious groups who will buck the system, go against the grain or question their authority is the ENEMY. Scary! I feel for our grandchildren. He also believes in going off the grid.
