📣 Future Owasso Rams Board Election Invitation 📣
We invite all 2025 registered Future Owasso Rams families to participate in voting for our new F.O.R. Board Members. This is an important opportunity to help shape the future of our youth sports programs and ensure strong leadership across all F.O.R. organizations.

Board Candidate Bios
🗳 Vice President Nominees
Jami Ward – Cheer/Pom
Jami has been coaching Owasso youth sports since 2018 and has coached every grade twice, now entering her third time through 2nd–7th grade. Her experience includes assistant coach roles for Mighty Mite, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade teams. She currently serves as Secretary on the F.O.R. Cheer Board and is the assistant coach for the 4th grade Cheer Team.
Having coached her two oldest children through the program and now guiding her youngest, Jami’s passion is mentoring young athletes and ensuring every participant has a strong, supportive program for years to come. With her extensive coaching and board experience, Jami is ready to lead, support, and advocate for all athletes, coaches, and families.
Cody Banks – Football
Cody has been an assistant football coach for 6 years and a football commissioner for 4 years. He currently serves as Vice President on the Football board. Cody believes the time is now for the community to fully realize the potential of the Future Owasso Rams (F.O.R.) youth organization for families and athletes.
🗳 Secretary Nominees
Cassidy Stevens – Cheer/Pom
Cassidy has dedicated 8 seasons to the F.O.R. Cheer & Pom program, serving 6 years as Head Coach and 2 years as Assistant Coach. She has also served 7 years as Cheer & Pom Commissioner and 3 years as Fundraising Coordinator. In addition, she is currently completing her third year as Treasurer, gaining valuable organizational and administrative experience.
Cassidy brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to clear communication, qualities essential for a Secretary. She is running to continue supporting the F.O.R. programs by maintaining accurate records, ensuring smooth board operations, and keeping families and coaches informed. With her youngest daughter entering the program, Cassidy remains deeply committed to the long-term success and sustainability of F.O.R.
Laura McElhany – Football
Laura has been involved with F.O.R. football for 7 years as a team mom, coordinating all team moms for flag and tackle football. She currently serves as Secretary on the Youth Football Board and helps coordinate the all-girls flag football team while managing tackle/flag football administration. Laura’s passion is serving the entire F.O.R. program, not just one sport.
🗳 Public Relations Nominees
Sydney Johnson – Basketball
She is a head coach of a 2nd grade boys team, as well as being a Commissioner of the Basketball Board. Sydney is a phenomenal coach and representative of our basketball program. She is running for the PR position and will be amazing at bringing awareness of and promoting our FOR organization, as a whole.
Dominic Hawkins – Football/Lacrosse
Dominic graduated from Owasso in 2012 and has four children, three of whom currently participate in F.O.R. sports. He has coached youth football for 6 years and lacrosse for 2 years. Dominic’s loyalty and love for Owasso and its youth run deep. He is running for Public Relations to strengthen communication and build relationships with families and organizations to benefit our community.
Justin Burgess – Football
Justin has been an active Volunteer Firefighter for over 15 years. He has served as a football official for 7 years and a basketball official for 5 years. Justin has coached in F.O.R. for 5 years. He has served on the F.O.R. Football Board for 3 years, including 2 years as Treasurer.
