Dear Friends and Donors,

I am writing to you with a heavy and yet extremely grateful heart, as there are changes going on with Threefold Widows Ministry that I need to share with you.

First, please let me thank you from the deepest place in my heart for your willingness to pray for us, physically helping us with garage sales, fashion shows, any multiple other fundraisers, and for your faithful donations. Your efforts have taken the light of Jesus around the world and changed lives.

Together we fed, clothed, and sheltered elderly widows that previously had been sleeping outside on the ground. You have helped to dig a well providing clean drinking water, build houses, provide cows for milk, chicken and goats for meat, and even helped to start a wool mill business so that the widows have a way to generate income. And that is just in Kisii! In Nairobi you have help two classes of women go through deep spiritual training, intense business training and the start of their own businesses!

Thank you! It has been a heart-moving and sometimes heart-wrenching journey with our God leading the way.

God has now brought us to a new juncture where team members who have been so very faithful are now called to new directions. I am not sure of all His plans, but I know that He has brought this journey to an end for Threefold Widows Ministry.

It is not an end to His provision and love of these beautiful women, and I am excited to see how He moves for them next.

Please keep your hearts open to how He wants to use you next – in obedience to Him we get to help accomplish amazing things.

Happy Resurrection Sunday! Hallelujah! Behold the Lamb of God who was slain…He is risen.

“Whoever believes in Jesus, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" (John 7:38)

“I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. "Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." (Revelation 7:14-17)

We are very grateful for the support and publicity that made the first Threads of Hope Spring Fashion Show a success. A BIG shoutout to the boutiques and lovely models who participated and to everyone who donated to or attended the event attended. Thank you to Becky Weaver who coordinated and gave us the courage to undertake this new event, to Amanda Underwood and her crew at Bailey Education Foundation for coordinating the venue, and to the entire Threefold Widows Ministry Team who have also worked tirelessly to make the event a reality. Finally, a THANK YOU to FOX23 Shae Rozzi for emceeing for us. By your generous donations and God’s grace we will continue to serve and lift up widows in Kenya.

Threefold Widows Ministry held their first ever fashion show, "Threads of Hope", on Saturday in support of their mission to help widows in Kenya.

What an amazing first-time event. It certainly exceeded our expectations with sold out tables. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and attended our spring fashion show this afternoon.
We are also especially grateful to our wonderful models, boutiques, donors and volunteers who helped make this a success. Praise God that through the generous contributions of so many we are able to provide lifegiving support and hope for a better future to many vulnerable widows living in Kenya.
