Sometimes a small act of kindness can make a huge difference in a child’s day.
Through our new “Kiwanis Kloset” program at Lawton Elementary School, Kiwanis of Oviedo Winter Springs is providing brand-new emergency clothing for students who experience spills, accidents, muddy playground mishaps, or torn clothing during the school day.
Instead of a parent having to leave work, take the child home, and bring them back to school, students can now quickly receive the clothing they need right in the school clinic and return to class with confidence and dignity.
Because helping kids means caring for the little moments, too. 💙💛
