The Central Florida Freethought Community (CFFC) is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization focusing on the separation between religion and government, educating the public on the value of secularism, and building a thriving Humanist community in the Central Florida area. Founded in 2012, the CFFC assists its community members and the public in resolving Establishment Clause and other viol
ations and advocates for the values we have in common with all people. Our Vision:
- Governments which neither promote nor denigrate any religion; a society that values equality, reason, and secularism; and a flourishing, global Humanist community. Our Mission:
- Promoting the separation of religion and government, educating the public on the value of Humanism and secularism, and developing a thriving Humanist community through social events and community service while ensuring that Humanists have a respected place in Central Florida. Our Goals:
Develop informed and involved community members who understand their rights
Achieve inclusion of the CFFC in the interfaith community
Bolster activism and education that build public support for the separation between religion and government
Secure an engaged local media that values our perspective on relevant issues
Organize and participate in community service projects that demonstrate our Humanist values
Create high quality, diverse, and consistently scheduled social events to unify and grow the freethought community
