Nikki's Blankets

It was a happy and sad day for Nikki! Happy she can help the children's home in a small way but sad it will be her last year.

Nikki came by today to bring us about 300 blankets for the children. Through her on-going project, Nikki's Blankets, she has raising funds to purchase new blankets for the past 10 years! But this is the last year she's doing it.That's because she's off to college! She'll be going to Haverford College in Philadelphia, PA with some scholarships. She's also playing for their softball team. We're very grateful for all that she's done to help the children over the years, and we wish her the very best of luck as she begins college.

Can you believe it?! This year is the 10 year anniversary of Nikki's Blankets! We've made our first order of blankets already and more will be on the way soon. Once again we are partnering with HOPE Helps Inc. and I wanted to share the drop off locations for all donations for Christmas in the City. Thank you all for your continued support!

What a wonderful day serving others! Christmas in the city, an event through Hope Helps, hosted over 200 struggling families. Jeans, socks, underwear, books, school supplies, toys, bikes, food, family pictures, a hot meal and blankets were handed out. Over 500 children will have a Merry Christmas this year. We are so thankful to be a small part of this event.
