Her speech was absolutely amazing! She shared how she had lost motivation in school and was ready to give up on herself. Then God blessed her with bonus parents who encouraged her, supported her, and helped her believe in herself again.

Moments like this remind me why we do what we do. This is what the LaShai House is all about—providing love, support, guidance, and hope to young people who need it most.

I am so proud of this young lady! She first came to us in our group home and now resides in our transition home. If only you knew her story, you would understand just how far she has come and how hard she has worked to get here.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are cheering you on and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your future. Keep shining and keep making us proud! 🎓❤️

Another early graduation! 👩‍🎓
Been here since 8:20am, but the sacrifices we make to see these kids walk across the stage are always worth it!

It’s days like this that remind us why we keep going, even when we feel like throwing in the towel. Watching another youth beat the statistics often placed on kids in the foster care system is a reminder that their story does not end where it started.

Today we celebrate resilience, growth, and another success story!

Goodbye middle school and hello high school!

It’s been a longggg week but helping get this young lady ready for prom reminded us exactly why we do what we do for our youth! I’ve said it a thousand times, working with foster youth can be exhausting, but it is also one of the most rewarding things ever.

To meeting Nat over a year ago and not caring about school to now finishing her senior year ahead of schedule and already registered for college, brings us so much joy and gives us the extra motivation we need to keep going!

She looked absolutely amazing!!🥹

My prayer is that you continue to stay focused, trust yourself, and listen to the positive people around you. We are all so proud of you! 💕
